Compare live Audi A6 lease deals below from an independent, whole of market broker. An all new generation of the A6, as a saloon or an Avant estate, with petrol, diesel and a plug-in hybrid covering up to 64 miles on electricity. See the A6 Allroad, the A5, or the rest of the Audi range.
This is an all new A6 rather than an update of the old one. The previous generation ran from 2018 to 2025, and this one arrived on a completely new platform, with UK deliveries starting in the summer of 2025. If you knew the last A6, this is a different car underneath.
What has not changed is the reason people choose one. The A6 is the quiet, well made, long distance option in its class, and it is the car to pick if you spend hours at a time in the driver's seat. Both the saloon and the Avant estate are sold in the UK.
Worth clearing up before anything else, because the names are one word apart and Audi lists them next to each other.
This page is the A6, which uses petrol and diesel engines and offers a plug-in hybrid called the A6 e-hybrid. The A6 e-tron is a separate, fully electric car on a different platform, sold as the A6 Sportback e-tron and the A6 Avant e-tron. They are not versions of the same vehicle.
So "e-hybrid" means the plug-in hybrid version of the car on this page, and "e-tron" means the electric car that is not. If you are not sure which you have been quoted on, ask us and we will tell you plainly.
Three choices, and they differ in drivetrain as well as fuel.
One thing worth checking before you decide, because it works in the opposite direction to what you would expect: the more electrified the A6, the smaller the boot. On the saloon it goes from around 490 litres on the petrol, to 452 on the diesel, to 354 on the plug-in hybrid. On the Avant it is 503 litres on the petrol and 466 on the diesel, where the mild hybrid battery sits under the floor. None of those are small, but if you chose an A6 for load space, compare the exact version rather than the model.
There is no V6 petrol or diesel in the UK range at the moment, so if six cylinders matter to you, the RS 6 is what you are waiting for. For company car tax, the e-hybrid is in a different league to the other two, and bands change each tax year, so take the current figures from your accountant.
The traditional choice and the sleeker of the two. Around 490 litres of boot on the petrol, which is plenty unless you carry awkward shapes.
The estate, at 503 litres on the petrol, and far more usable with a square opening and a flat floor. The one most UK buyers should look at first.
The starting point, and a well equipped car in its own right rather than a stripped out base model.
The sporting look, with the bumpers, wheels and interior detailing. Worth driving both, since the bigger wheels affect the ride.
The top of the core range, bundling the equipment most buyers would otherwise add individually.
If you need the raised, rougher road version of the Avant, that is the A6 Allroad, which has its own page. Equipment moves between model years, so tell us what you want on the car and we will check it against the specification you are quoted.
A large share of A6s go out as company cars, and the e-hybrid is usually why. A plug-in hybrid with real electric range sits far lower on benefit in kind than a petrol or diesel, so for a driver who can charge at home the monthly cost of running one is a fraction of the equivalent diesel.
If you cannot charge, take the 40 TDI instead and do not feel short changed: it is the better car for high mileage anyway. Our leasing guides cover term and mileage, and business leasing explains the company position.

They are different cars. The A6 uses petrol and diesel engines and offers a plug-in hybrid called the A6 e-hybrid. The A6 e-tron is a separate, fully electric model on a different platform, sold as the A6 Sportback e-tron and A6 Avant e-tron. One word in the badge, two entirely different vehicles.
Three. A 40 TFSI 2.0 petrol mild hybrid with 204PS and front wheel drive, a 40 TDI quattro 2.0 diesel mild hybrid with 204PS and 400Nm, and the A6 e-hybrid quattro plug-in hybrid with 299PS. All use the S tronic automatic.
Yes, the A6 Avant, and it is sold alongside the saloon in the UK. The petrol Avant has a 503 litre boot against around 490 for the saloon, and the estate's square opening and flat floor make it considerably more usable than the figures alone suggest.
Up to 64 miles from its 25.9kWh battery, which is enough for most ordinary weeks without the engine running. The saving depends entirely on being able to charge, so if you have nowhere to plug in, the diesel is the more honest choice.
It depends on the engine as well as the body. On the saloon it is around 490 litres for the petrol, 452 for the diesel and 354 for the plug-in hybrid. On the Avant it is 503 litres for the petrol and 466 for the diesel. The batteries account for the difference, so compare the exact version if load space matters.
Both, depending on the engine. The 40 TFSI petrol is front wheel drive. The 40 TDI diesel and the e-hybrid are quattro all wheel drive as standard. That is worth knowing if you had assumed every A6 was quattro.
Not in the current UK range, which is four cylinder petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid only. An RS 6 is expected later as both an Avant and a saloon.
LetsLease is a credit broker rather than the lender. We arrange the agreement and place it with a funder such as Lex Autolease, Novuna, Ayvens or Santander, and that funder owns the vehicle and holds the agreement with you. Because we work across several funders rather than one, we can compare how each prices the same car.
