Compare live Mercedes-Benz CLA lease deals below from an independent, whole of market broker. An all new CLA, fully electric with up to 483 miles of range or as a petrol hybrid, as a saloon or a Shooting Brake. See the A-Class, the C-Class, or the rest of the Mercedes-Benz range.
This is an all new CLA, and it is the most important car Mercedes has launched in years. The headline is the range: the fully electric CLA 250+ manages 483 miles as a saloon, which is further than almost anything else on sale at any price, and it does it on an 800 volt system that takes a DC charge at up to 320kW.
It is also offered two ways. Mercedes launched the electric versions first and added petrol hybrids afterwards, so you can have the same car either fully electric or with a petrol engine. Both come as a four door saloon or a five door Shooting Brake estate.
Three versions. Mercedes' own press material calls these the CLA "with EQ Technology", while its UK retail site simply calls them CLA Electric, so you will see both.
224hp from a single rear motor, rear wheel drive, on a 58kWh usable battery. Up to 331 miles as a saloon.
272hp, still a single rear motor, on the larger 85kWh usable battery. Up to 483 miles as a saloon or 465 as a Shooting Brake. The long distance choice.
354hp from two motors with 4MATIC all wheel drive, on the same 85kWh battery. Up to 447 miles as a saloon.
One thing worth checking before you commit, because the headline figure is not the one you will necessarily get. That 483 miles is the saloon on 18 inch wheels. Step up to an AMG Line on 19 inch wheels and it drops to no less than 461 miles. The Shooting Brake is lower again. None of those are bad numbers, but if you are choosing the CLA specifically for its range, ask us for the official figure on the exact wheel and trim combination you are being quoted rather than the one in the advert.
All three petrol versions use a 1.5 litre four cylinder with a hybrid module, a 1.3kWh battery and an eight speed dual clutch automatic. Mercedes-Benz UK describes this as a "petrol full hybrid". It is not a plug-in: you never charge it.
Worth knowing there is no diesel and no plug-in hybrid in the new CLA range. The previous generation had both, so if you have driven a CLA 250 e or a CLA diesel, neither carries over. If you can charge at home, the electric versions are what the car was designed around and they sit far lower on company car tax. If you cannot, the petrol hybrid is the sensible answer and it needs no cable at all. Bands change each tax year, so take the current figures from your accountant.
The saloon has a 405 litre boot, and on the single motor electric versions there is another 101 litres under the bonnet, which is the natural home for charging cables. The Shooting Brake has 455 litres and a far more usable opening, and both go up to as much as 1,290 litres with the rear seats folded.
Five trims: Sport, Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium and AMG Line Premium Plus. Bear in mind the AMG Line versions bring larger wheels, which on an electric CLA costs you range, so it is worth pricing a Sport Executive against an AMG Line and seeing what the trade is. Equipment moves between model years, so tell us what you need and we will check the specification you are quoted.

Both. Mercedes launched the new CLA as an electric car first and added petrol hybrids afterwards, so the same model is sold both ways, in saloon and Shooting Brake form. There is no diesel and no plug-in hybrid in this generation.
Up to 483 miles for the CLA 250+ saloon, 447 for the CLA 350 4MATIC and 331 for the CLA 200. The Shooting Brake is a little lower, at up to 465 miles for the CLA 250+. Those headline figures are on 18 inch wheels, and larger wheels reduce them.
Because Mercedes has used two naming conventions in quick succession. "With EQ Technology" is its formal designation for the electric versions, while its UK retail site simply calls them CLA Electric. They are the same cars.
Not in the new generation. The previous CLA offered the 250 e plug-in hybrid, but the current car is either fully electric or a petrol hybrid that never needs charging. If you see a CLA 250 e referenced, that is the older model.
Up to 320kW on a DC rapid charger, thanks to its 800 volt electrical architecture. That is among the fastest rates any production car will accept and makes a motorway stop genuinely short.
Boot shape more than size. The saloon has 405 litres and the Shooting Brake 455, but the estate's square opening and flat floor make it far more usable, and both reach as much as 1,290 litres with the seats folded. Single motor electric versions also have a 101 litre compartment under the bonnet.
Sport, Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium and AMG Line Premium Plus. On an electric CLA it is worth comparing a Sport Executive against an AMG Line, because the larger AMG Line wheels reduce the official range.
LetsLease is a credit broker rather than the lender. We arrange the agreement and place it with a funder such as Lex Autolease, Novuna, Ayvens or Santander, and that funder owns the vehicle and holds the agreement with you. Because we work across several funders rather than one, we can compare how each prices the same car.
