Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and phrases have the meanings set out below:

  • Applicable Law – The laws of England and Wales

  • Arrangement Fee – The fee we charge for our Services, payable at the time of the Order

  • Business Customer – A customer who is not a Consumer

  • Cancellation Period – As defined in Clause 9.2

  • CAP – CAP Automotive Limited, Capital House, Bond Court, Leeds, LS1 5EZ

  • Consumer – An individual acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession

  • Credit Check – Assessment of suitability and affordability, including searches with credit reference agencies

  • Deposit – Any sum paid at the time of the Order for the Vehicle and returned following delivery

  • Initial Payment – The initial rental payable to the Funder, collected by us

  • Finance Agreement – A finance agreement between you and the Funder to lease the Vehicle

  • Funder – The provider of finance under the Finance Agreement

  • LetsLease Car Leasing Limited – Defined in Clause 2.1

  • Manufacturer – The manufacturer of your chosen Vehicle

  • Order – A signed order form and approved finance application

  • Services – Vehicle sourcing, credit checks, arranging finance and arranging delivery

  • Terms – These terms and conditions

  • VAT – Value Added Tax as applicable

  • Vehicle – A vehicle displayed on our Website and ordered by you

  • Website – letslease.co.uk operated by LetsLease Car Leasing Limited

Interpretation

  • Singular includes plural and vice versa

  • Gender includes all genders

  • References to persons include companies

  • Headings are for convenience only

LetsLease Car Leasing Limited is an Appointed Representative of B&B Vehicle Contracts Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA number 656300).

We act as a credit broker, not a lender.

3. What We Do

We specialise in vehicle leasing arrangements:

  • Personal Contract Hire (PCH)

  • Business Contract Hire (BCH)

Our role

We:

  • source vehicles

  • obtain quotations

  • submit finance applications

  • liaise with dealers and funders

  • arrange delivery

Fees

We charge an Arrangement Fee for our services.

Commission

If you enter into a finance agreement:

  • we may receive a payment from the funder

  • this may be a fixed fee or percentage of vehicle value

  • it does not affect the finance rate offered to you

Finance applications

The funder will:

  • carry out affordability checks

  • conduct credit searches

  • request financial information where required

Important:

  • Finance is subject to status

  • UK residents aged 18+ only

  • Guarantees may be required

LetsLease Car Leasing Limited does not provide financial, legal or tax advice.

 

4. Your Personal Data

We process personal data in accordance with:

  • UK GDPR

  • Data Protection Act 2018

We may collect:

  • name

  • address

  • date of birth

  • contact details

  • financial information

Your data may be shared with:

  • funders

  • credit reference agencies

  • authorised service providers

5. Vehicles

  • Vehicle information is supplied by CAP Automotive

  • Specifications and images are illustrative only

  • We are not liable for errors in published data

After delivery, you are responsible for:

  • servicing

  • maintenance

  • compliance with the Finance Agreement

Prices:

  • may include or exclude VAT depending on customer type

  • may change due to manufacturer pricing, taxation or residual value changes

Quotations are guidance only until a valid Order exists.

6. Ordering a Vehicle

The order process

  1. You submit an application

  2. We acknowledge receipt

  3. Finance approval is sought

  4. Order confirmation is issued

A contract is formed when:

  • information is provided

  • the Arrangement Fee is paid

  • payments are received

  • Order Confirmation is sent

You will then enter a separate Finance Agreement with the Funder.

We may charge the Arrangement Fee if:

  • work has begun

  • finance is approved

  • you choose not to proceed

You must:

  • be 18+

  • hold a full driving licence

  • be a UK resident

7. Vehicle Prices

Prices:

  • correct at time of application

  • subject to change

  • include delivery to mainland UK

If pricing errors occur:

  • we will contact you

  • you may proceed or cancel

Rental rates may change due to:

  • manufacturer pricing

  • residual values

  • dealer discounts

Quotations are not an offer of finance.

8. Vehicle Delivery

  • Delivery dates are estimates only

  • Manufacturer delays can occur

  • We are not responsible for delay losses

Before delivery you must:

  • provide valid insurance

9. Your Right to Cancel (Consumers Only)

You have a 14-day cancellation period from the start of the contract.

To cancel:

If you cancel:

  • payments will be refunded

  • we may deduct a reasonable fee for work completed

  • this may be up to the full Arrangement Fee

Cancellation may not apply where:

  • services have begun at your request

  • the vehicle is personalised

10. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • loss of profits

  • business interruption

  • loss of opportunity

  • indirect or consequential losses

Nothing excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury due to negligence

  • fraud

11. Our Right to Cancel

We may cancel if:

  • the vehicle becomes unavailable

  • circumstances beyond our control occur

  • you breach the contract

Refunds will be issued where applicable.

12. Manufacturer Warranty

The vehicle warranty is provided by the Manufacturer, not LetsLease Car Leasing Limited.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.

14. End of Lease

At lease end:

  • mileage limits apply

  • excess mileage charges may apply

  • vehicle condition assessed under BVRLA Fair Wear & Tear guidelines
